AGNES BOTTY

Agnes Botty portrait

Born from the memory of a grandmother's piano lessons, Agnes Botty weaves together piano, guitar, and cello in sublime atmospheric folk that touches the ethereal.

"A sublime blend supporting an aerial voice, creating music that soars between celestial flights and moments of gentle elegance."

The Story

Agnes Botty is the musical project of Jérôme Magnée, named in honor of his grandmother who first introduced him to the world of music through piano lessons and philharmonic orchestra visits. This classical foundation continues to influence his self-taught, continuously evolving approach to atmospheric folk.

Collaborating primarily with cellist Amandine Flandre, the project creates cinematic soundscapes that bridge classical training with contemporary atmospheric folk, drawing comparisons to Patrick Watson, Fleet Foxes, and Villagers.
